On Thursday, October 12 and Friday, October 13, the University will host Foodbetter Harvard, a two-day event on the Science Center Plaza uniting our community around food as a valuable area of work, study, and institutional action on our campus and in our affiliated communities. Foodbetter Harvard invites you to ask questions about the food system and how to improve it: how to grow better, eat better, shop better, conserve better . . . how to Foodbetter.  

Events will include presentations, cooking and science demonstrations, panels and an innovation and sustainability fair. A full schedule of events is available online. The program features faculty and students from virtually every school at Harvard!

Speakers at the Keynote Address on Thursday, October 12 , 4:30 p.m. include Chef Katrina Jayzeri, Chef Jody Adams, Chef Irene Li, and Chef Tiffani Faison who will discuss how these industry leaders are reinventing the food system and their communities from their Boston-area restaurants. The conversation will be moderated by Alumna and Chef Joanne Chang.
