  • Tuscany and Umbria, Italy

TUSCANY & UMBRIA (September 22- Oct 2, 2016) Tuscany and Umbria capture what makes Italy special from the countryside of rolling hills and medieval towns in regions rich in traditions, history, culture and artistry. Tuscany is the birthplace of the Renaissance. Florence, (with a special visit to the Vasari Corridor), Greve (in the Chianti region) and Montalcino (for its wine) are wonderful. Tuscany is known for its food and wine, olive oil and rows of cypress trees.  The warm Umbrians will have you reveling in many special private experiences. Our stops include beautiful Assisi, a chocolate farm in Perugia, a visit with a master ceramist in Deruta, a 15th century villa and a wine tasting in Todi, the lovely town of Orvieto, the world famous Music and Art Festival town of Spoleto and the Eternal City of Rome visiting its famous and hidden spots.
