Great news! Dame Barbara Hanley of Shy Brothers Farm in Westport Point, MA is our host for our annual meeting. She has extended an invitation for an all-day visit to her farm, cheese house, and home for a pulled pork barbecue luncheon on Sunday, September 17th. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, adjacent to the ocean.
Barbara is hosting the LDEI Legacy Award winner Shelley Robinson for her week to learn cheese making at Shy Brothers Farm; we will meet and mingle with her.
Tours of the cheese house will start at 11 a.m.; Barbara asks that you please do not wear perfume, hair spray, or scented body lotion and your feet must be covered with closed-toed shoes. Wear your summer sandals and pack your close-toed shoes to see how Hannahbells and Cloumage creamy fresh cheese are made.
